About Us
Marple Cricket Club is committed to the development of Junior Cricket in the local area. The summer schools have been established to further the development of young cricketers whatever their ability. We will be running three weeks of courses; two for the younger and less experienced cricketers, and one for older children.
Courses
The courses will consist of fun and exciting cricket based coaching modules, delivered by three ECB Level 2 qualified coaches, providing expert technical instruction. The modules are all linked to exciting games, individual and team competitions, complete with prizes, trophies and certificates.
Our Aim
We hope every child that participates in our course will leave having had a week of cricketing fun and enjoyment, whilst developing further knowledge and enhanced levels of cricketing skills. We hope all the children will foster a long-standing relationship with the game of cricket and enjoy playing for years to come. From a future England superstar, to a child who has never before picked up a bat, our courses can cater for all!
Safety
Marple Cricket Club regard the safety of young cricketers as of paramount importance. For this reason all our coaches are First Aid and Child Protection qualified and hold a recent and valid CRB check. All activities will be performed in a safe and controlled environment.
